I am a dreamer and I think I could have been many things in my life; a designer, the happy owner of an intimate bookshop or a cozy café, maybe a writer. But I chose to be a photographer, from the need to tell visual stories.

I draw most of my inspiration from the kind of nostalgia that you can find in films, lyrics from some particular songs, poetry, books - this is why I am so passionate about creating images with that evocative, intimate touch.

Life to me is finding beauty in the authenticity of all things imperfect and real, in the quiet moments, in the little details: the first draft of a difficult letter, messy hair, cooking dinner for two with my favorite wool sweater on, the one with frayed sleeves, having our dog around and too many candles lit.
